We have digital signage partners both at home and abroad who have been successful in their technology deployments. Many of these partners have come to us directly through visits to the site or through other referring companies and partners. We have found great benefit ourselves in the partnerships we have forged with various companies who can help put together all the pieces for successful digital signage deployments. What makes for a great partner? Well, there are a number of things we look for in our partnerships. 
First, we look for a company we can work with. At the outset, this industry was quite cutthroat–and often still is. Consequently it has been difficult for us to know who to trust. Integrity is a big part of what we espouse here at DS.com.
Secondly, we look for a company that can supply something of value–especially if it is missing from our repertoire of offerings. It may look like we are trying to “be everything to everyone.” However, I like to tell our potential clients that we work to find everything for everyone. If we can’t do it, we’ll let it be known and pass the baton onto the most qualified individual of our partnership network.
Third, we thrive on innovation. When a potential partner comes to us with something heretofore untapped–an idea of magnificent proportions–we love to promote and expand the segment. While innovations often give way to revenue-lessness, they generally lead to profit down the road. Some of our partners have gone above and beyond the standard “feature-sets” of most software, hardware, and advertising vendors.
Lastly, we like to work with “go getters.” You can teach the farmer how to work in IT, but you can’t teach the IT specialist to farm. Hard work is fundamental to success in any venture.
